Landmark Issue of “IT’S A FANZINE!”
Do you enjoy comic books from the Silver and Golden Ages? If you understand the terms “Silver” and “Golden” Age, then I’m pretty sure you enjoy those comics. For 28 years, my friend Gene Kehoe has cranked out a wonderful comics fanzine called–what else?–IT’S A FANZINE! Recently, he published IAF #50, a cornucopia of literate, lilting and uplifting comics commentary, reviews, and good old fashioned fun. Inside, you’ll find an amazing array of articles spotlighting comics characters and their creators: Dick Tracy, Captain Marvel, Superman, Steve Ditko, Chester Gould, Otto Binder, just to name a few of each. You won’t find this one on a flat screen, folks. But if you’ll write Gene, he’ll be glad to send you a copy of this landmark issue to have and to hold from this day forward. At five bucks, it’s a genuine bargain! For more info, e-mail Gene at fangene@aol.com or iaf1952@yahoo.com Oh, and he’ll take a check or Paypal.
